Report released by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom
1-The US Commission has recommended the imposition of strict diplomatic sanctions on India
2-India deliberately allows systematic violence against religious freedoms
3-India has committed serious violations of international religious freedom law
4-Diplomatic, administrative sanctions should be imposed on the Indian government, institutions and officials.
5-The assets of those involved in the denial of religious freedom should be frozen, and entry into the United States should be banned.
6-Sanctions likely to be imposed on Indian PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh
7-Government officials, including the Bharatiya Janata Party, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the police, may also face sanctions.
8-Earlier, Narendra Modi was banned from playing a role in spreading anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat.
