WASHINGTON: The United States has shown concern at the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project. State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said the US continued to talk to Islamabad on repairing the bilateral relations, severely strained by a Nato strike on Pakistani border posts in November. Nuland said Washington was talking to Pakistani government at all levels to normalize the relations and get back to “full counterterrorism cooperation.” She said counterterrorism cooperation between the US and Pakistan is in the interest of both countries. She said the US would support Afghan-led efforts to reach a negotiated end to the war with the Taliban.
